About Us

Nonprofits change the world. We help them build the communities that make it possible.

Our story

Community Boost was founded in 2012 on a single conviction. Nonprofits were being underserved by agencies that didn't understand the sector, and we set out to build one that did.

We started with the Google Ad Grant, a program most nonprofits had access to but few could use effectively. That work gave us a ground-level understanding of how nonprofits think, what they can realistically sustain, and what they actually need from a partner. From there we grew into a full-service agency spanning every digital channel.

Thirteen years later we are a team of 60 people who have worked with more than 1,500 nonprofits across humanitarian aid, education, health, climate, and more. Every person here chose this work on purpose. That shared commitment is what clients notice, and it is what keeps them with us.

"We exist to help mission-driven organizations harness the full power of digital marketing to find new supporters and scale their revenue."

Our belief

Nonprofits don't need more campaigns. They need integrated supporter journeys.

The nonprofits winning today aren't the ones running the most ads. They're the ones building the most loyal supporters who feel connected to the mission, trust the work, and keep showing up year after year.

That belief drives everything we build for our clients. The way we put it into practice is through the Supporter Journey, our framework for moving people from first impression to lifelong advocate across every channel we manage.

We know nonprofits

Your board wants to know if digital marketing is working. We give you the data to answer that.

Your team is stretched across too many channels. We own the execution so you don’t have to.

Your donors gave once. We help you build the relationships that bring them back.

HOW WE WORK

What makes Community Boost different

Nonprofit-only focus

We don’t divide our attention between sectors. Every playbook, framework, and team member is built around the specific dynamics of nonprofit fundraising and program enrollment.

Full-funnel thinking

Our Supporter Journey framework moves donors from first impression to lifelong advocate, integrating Impact, Resonance, and Stewardship into a single coherent strategy.

Radical transparency

Clients own their own ad accounts. Spend is never bundled into opaque fees. You always know exactly where your budget is going and what it is producing.

Data that drives decisions

Our proprietary Nonprofit Performance Index provides cross-channel attribution and sector benchmarking, moving your leadership team from debating metrics to making decisions.
