How to Show Donor Love Online This Valentine’s Day

2 min to read ✭  In this post, you'll learn how to make your nonprofit stand out with stewardship on Valentine’s Day.

Roses are red, violets are blue. We just got a new donor, now what should we do?

This Valentine’s Day, we want to challenge all of the nonprofit marketers out there to send at least one thank you video to your donors. Using video to say thank you is so powerful. It can take your stewardship efforts to the next level, it can lower donor churn. It increases average donor lifetime value and can even increase future gift sizes. It’s powerful.

Just like the best valentines, video can allow you to be creative, be caring, and be thoughtful. It’s not the flashiness that matters. It’s the ones from the heart and that’s what you should channel. If you use video to do that, we promise that you’re going to get a positive response. We’ve encouraged many of our nonprofit partners to do this, whether it’s on Giving Tuesday, randomly through the year or on Valentine’s Day, and the response is overwhelming. Most causes don’t say thank you like this. This means a lot, and that helps lock in future gifts. Have amazing Valentine’s Day. Take the Valentine’s Day challenge and use video to take your stewardship to the next level.
