Community Boost is looking for an experienced and incredibly driven Director of Business Development that brings 6+ years of experience in the nonprofit technology space. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and has a proven track record of smashing quota and fostering consistent, predictable lead-gen efforts with channel partners. The Dir of Business Development will report directly to the CEO and work closely with Community Boost’s sales and marketing teams.

Your day-to-day:

  • Achieve quota by selling Nonprofit Marketing Summit sponsorship (Community Boost hosts twice a year the Nonprofit Marketing Summit – the world’s largest nonprofit virtual conference)
  • Manage top channel partner lead gen efforts (ie. nonprofit tech platforms, agencies, nonprofit networks) and ensure two-way lead generation efforts are happening on a consistent and predictable basis.
  • Facilitate in-person events with support from the marketing team to target high-priority prospects and partners
  • Manage and monetize the referrals Community Boost passes to other agencies that we do not execute in-house

 

What you bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in the nonprofit tech space serving in either partnerships, business development or sales
  • Proven track record of achieving quota
  • Strong integrity with established processes and workflows, as it relates to project deadlines, goal expectations, and roadmaps.
  • Prior usage of a CRM (we use Hubspot)Prior usage of a channel partner portal (we use PartnerPortal.io)

  • Tremendous leadership skills that translate to effectively working with partners, other Community Boost directors and enterprise prospects

  • Starting salary band: $150-175k + OTE
